HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Our Virtual Town Halls are regular online meetings we’re holding for anyone across the country to become involved and have an opportunity to contribute to the direction of NCAPES, by providing their personal insights and feedback about how suicide is addressed in Australia.

We have drawn on the idea of a Virtual Town Hall because of the history of town hall meetings being a way that communities come together to solve shared problems, speak freely and develop their own solutions.

We hold Virtual Town Halls regularly so that the direction NCAPES takes is always guided by the community. Some Virtual Town Halls will focus on particular topics, communities or workforces.

Are you involved in - or thinking of getting involved in - suicide prevention activities?

Here you can submit any requests you might have to connect with others who have been involved in similar activities as those you are getting involved in.

We will then respond to specific questions you have, and/or link you up with others who can share with you what they’ve learned from similar activities and experiences.
